DMCA and copyright policy.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
We respect the work of photographers, writers and other creators. If you own a photo or piece of text that appears here without permission, tell us. We will look into it and remove or disable the material if the claim is valid.
Our policy
It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. When we receive a proper notice, we may remove or disable access to the material while we review it. We may also notify the person who uploaded it.
We do not allow repeated infringement. A person who repeatedly uploads material that infringes copyright may lose the ability to use this site.
How to send a notice
Email your notice to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. A phone call or a WhatsApp message is not enough for a formal notice because we need a written record. You can also post a written notice to the address at the bottom of this page.
What your notice should include
- Your full name, address, phone number and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If several works are involved, give a list.
- The exact URL or URLs on this site where the material appears. A general link to the homepage is not enough.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act for the owner. This statement must be made under penalty of perjury.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A note that you understand your notice may be shared with the person who posted the material.
What happens next
We review the notice and check the URL and ownership details. If the notice is complete and looks valid, we remove or disable the material. We may contact the person who uploaded it and give them a chance to send a counter-notice. We aim to act promptly, but we cannot promise a fixed number of hours.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same email address with the subject “DMCA Counter-Notice”. Please include:
- Your full name, address, phone number and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi, India, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may forward a valid counter-notice to the original complainant. We may restore the material if the complainant does not take legal action within a reasonable time.
Repeat infringers
We keep a record of notices and removals. If the same person or account is the subject of repeated valid notices, we may remove their content and block them from using the site.
Misuse of this process
Do not send a false or misleading notice. A false notice can harm the person who posted the material and may create legal liability for you. Do not use this process to remove lawful content, criticism or material you simply do not like. If you are not sure whether you own the copyright, speak to a lawyer first.
